Natalie Hume, Research Assistant at Art Gallery of Ontario

Natalie Hume is a curator/ art historian who specializes in late 19th-century and early 20th-century art from Europe and North America with a focus on works on paper. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary and a graduate degree in Art History from the University of Toronto.

Natalie has worked on a number of exhibitions including Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters (LACMA: July 31, 2016 - November 27, 2016; Mia: February 26 - May 21, 2017; AGO: September 30, 2017 - January 7, 2018) and Mystical Landscapes: Masterpieces from Monet, Van Gogh, and more (AGO: October 22, 2016 - January 29, 2017; Musee d'Orsay: March 13 - June 25, 2017). Natalie is currently working on exhibitions related to the Symbolist movement and preparing applications for her doctoral studies.
