"I was born into a family of artists. Though I studied commercial art with my siblings, producing commercially related work on a daily basis had little appeal for me. Painting from my perspective was always a passionate and pleasurable experience.
In portraying the world around me, nature in all its wonder is a never ending source of inspiration. In choosing subjects to paint, lighting is most often the factor that decides my selection. Though the majority of my work would be described as landscapes, I also enjoy the experience of painting still-lifes and portraits.
Painting to me is a passion and if a passion is consuming, let it devour me completely."
