The Society of Canadian Artists board of directors is made up from volunteer members from across Canada. Our Executive team consists of the President, Vice President, Exhibitions Director & Treasurer. Directors also chair various committees. Regional Representatives offer support and outreach for artists in the geographical area where they reside.

Regional Representatives
The Regional Representative has no formal authority to commit the Society to financial assistance, sponsorships, or contracts without Board approval.
The Representative may not speak on behalf of the SCA on Board-level matters without prior approval.
Responsibilities:
The Regional Representative is first and foremost responsible for representing the SCA’s interests and supporting members within their region. All other duties are secondary, nor do they attend Board Meetings.
The Regional Representative is responsible to:
- Promote the SCA, its open exhibitions, and membership admission dates to artists in their region.
- Keep the SCA Board and Newsletter Editor informed of visual arts activities in their region, with particular emphasis on open juried shows that may interest SCA members across Canada.
