Become a member
The Society of Canadian Artists welcomes applications from all professional artists – from traditional painting and drawing, to those who work in new digital media, as well as artists working in 3 dimensional materials.
The SCA offers two levels of membership:
Elected Member which is geared to professional artists who have gone through the adjudication process
Associate Member includes emerging artists who have not undergone adjudication as well as art supporters and aficionados.
PLEASE NOTE: As we are the Society of CANADIAN Artists, all applicants must be Canadian citizens or Canadian residents.

How to become a member
Our membership year runs from May 1 to April 30
Associate membership is open throughout the year. Artists considering undergoing the adjudication process for Elected membership are encouraged to join as an Associate member until the next jury date. Elected membership is through adjudication only. The next deadline for the jurying process is March 31, 2020.
