						Robert Potvin SCA

						Nominations

Robert was born in the town of Grimsby, Ontario and presently resides in Whitefish, Ontario.
He is a self-taught artist who works primarily in acrylics on board. With his paintings, he seeks to explore themes of individuality, isolation and obsolescence.
Although the subject matter varies widely, the interplay of light and shadow and attention to detail remain constant in his art. It is no coincidence that Robert’s paintings tend to be full, yet sparse enough to allow and even encourage interpretation and participation.
He can be found working at his studio on the shores of Fairbank Lake.
