Jennifer Caie began painting at the age of sixteen. Work carried her family all over Northern Canada making the world of art seem far away, but that all changed in 2016. Moving southward to Dryden, in the heart of Northwestern Ontario, she began working full time as an artist. In 2021, she received Elected Member of the Society of Canadian Artists, and Active Member of Federation of Canadian Artists. In 2022, Caie became an Associate Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
Caie spends time each day on nature trails and in her studio. She brings drama and depth to her work through the connection and tension created between the light and shadows. Her work ranges in subject: close up details from her own wildflower garden, lakeshores, big skies, or anywhere her travels take her throughout the wild places in Canada.
