CV - Sue Archibald, B.A, O.S.A

Sue Archibald earned a degree from the University of Guelph, specializing in painting and printmaking. Her studies continued with Grant McEwen School of Design in Alberta, The Toronto School of Art, Haliburton School of Fine Arts, and an ongoing association with Etobicoke Art Group and Neilson Park Creative Centre.

Sue is an award winning artist and an elected member of Ontario Society of Artists. Her works can be found in private collections including Edward Day Gallery, The Leon family, and national & international collections in New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Texas, California, Ireland, and the U.K.

Recent Relevant Experience

Curator of Exhibitions - Summer & Grace Gallery, Oakville 2022/23

Hired on a 12 month contract to create, develop and curate a monthly exhibition program for the gallery. Participate in selection of artists to be permanently represented by the gallery.

Art Juror - recent contracts Colour & Form Society, Oakville Art Society, Artisan Market Creative Hub, Lakeshore Art Trail. This entails selecting a required number of works from submissions by artists. Creating a high quality show for the client. Selecting Award winners and writing critical statements for each winner. Presenting the awards.
